The legacy of Jo Cox, the MP for Batley and Spen murdered in June 2016, continues to be felt up and down the UK, and we were delighted to have a tiny part in honouring her memory this summer.

Our old friend, musician Nick Cope, had discovered that his song ‘Best Foot Forward’ was one of the Cox family’s favourites. Nick has since performed at the official unveiling in Parliament of the memorial plaque to Jo as well as singing at the Cox family home. So when he asked us if we’d like to help out filming the fantastic kids at Carswell School in Abingdon performing Best Foot Forward, of course we said yes!

It was a brilliant afternoon and great to see the children embracing the fun and positivity of the words – putting our best foot forward together we can make the world a nicer, kinder place. Thank you to Headteacher Tina Farr and all the amazing children at Carswell for your lovely singing and dancing!
